Training for Your Marriage Adventure (2025)

Who to marry is one of your biggest decisions in life. However, it is even more important to decide: How do you want to be married? Who do you want to be for your most significant person?

If you are planning to marry or have recently married, we want to help you with this marriage prep course to start your marriage adventure. For 4 online sessions and 2 presence meetings, we want to walk alongside you and help you grow. You will get a better understanding of who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there.

We especially welcome intercultural couples. But even if you are both Germans you will realize there are most certainly cultural differences between you and your families of origin!

This course is:

• Personal: We are not afraid to talk of our failures if it helps you learn.
• Interactive: Giving you a lot of space to talk with each other and with us.
• Intense: Every session will be packed with ideas, tips and challenges.
• Bi-lingual: Everything will be translated (English & German).
• Online - Live via Zoom
• Designed to make you ask the important questions!

We welcome you to visit us in Hainichen on Saturday, 15th of March and Saturday, 24th of May. The first day will help us grow together as a group, while the second will close up & celebrate. On both days, there will also be an input session. If at all possible, please come!

• Love is a Covenant, not a Contract
• Sexuality, Intimacy and Trust
• Where are we going? Common Values, common Goals

Costs: 190 Euros per couple
Including course fee, coffee breaks, lunch on March 15th and a candle light dinner on May 24th.

Register until Sunday, March 9th. At least 5 couples need to register.

Joachim & Luciene Junginger have been missionaries with Youth with a Mission for almost 20 years, first in Brazil and since 2016 in Germany. As a couple, they lead the family ministry of YWAM Hainichen and they are especially passionate about intercultural couples and families. Joachim and Luciene have been married since 2007 and have three children.

Benjamin & Lydia Pick got to know each other in a House of Prayer in Herrnhut, Germany, where they lived and worked in an international community. They have been married since 2021, started to work with YWAM Hainichen in 2022 and recently a baby was added to their family team! It’s their passion to encourage people, help them to discover their calling and see them flourish in different areas of their life.

Andreas & Angela Fresz have been married since 1980 and have 2 children and 8 grandchildren. They wanted to offer the help they had personally experienced in a marital crisis to other married couples and were trained to serve families. They have been YWAM staff since 1987. They started the YWAM center in Hainichen together with a team.
