How young was Gideon when God called him? David? Jeremiah? And yet God trusted them to fight for Him with all their heart.
We need the ideas, the passion and the (apparently) inexhaustible energy of young people. The older generations are no less important. They have gained a lot of experience and can give stability and wisdom. It is important to God that all generations let themselves be guided by God's Spirit together:
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams ... (Joel 3:1 / Acts 2:17)
Your decision to follow God will have an impact on your children (this also applies to spiritual children). That is how the Blessing is passed down through the generations.
Does this happen automatically? Yes.
Do you have to intentionally choose to do it over and over again? Definitely!
How about telling your children what you have experienced with God?
How can you challenge them to take spiritual responsibility themselves?
